Traveling Information

 The following information is provided to assist you in your traveling to our Training.

• If you are flying, the closes airport is John Wayne Airport http://www.ocair.com/, which is only 12 minutes away.  The next closest airport is Ontario International Airport http://www.lawa.org/ont/welcomeONT.cfm which is about a 35 minute drive away.

• Items to bring to your training: All you need is comfortable shoes and clothes. Due to the large amounts of supplies that you will receive we recommend that you bring one or two empty suite cases (depending on airline restrictions) to take as much of your tools with you and then we will ship all remaining items to your home. We will fire all samples you make and ship them back to you free of charge. If you are driving to your training, you will take all of your supplies with you, including all the samples you made to fire in your new kiln.

• Below is a list of hotels within 15 minutes to my home. The prices quoted are if you reserve through the Internet, double bed, non-smoking. Some offer lower rates if you have AAA. Other cities near Irvine that have lots of hotels are Newport Beach, Santa Ana, Costa Mesa, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Aliso Viejo, Laguna Hills, and Tustin. Good sites to find a hotel are expedia.com and hotels.com.
